In 2017 I turned to my husband and said, "I want to bake cookies. People say I make good cookies and I want to find out if I really do or if everyone's just being nice." The first market was a small table of chocolate chip, peanut butter and shortbread. Our sugar cookies with buttercream would be introduced a couple of months later.

Within a year we started participating in festivals and our home business quickly grew.
By the end of 2019 we knew we had outgrown being a home baker and decided 2020 we'd make the leap and move to a commercial kitchen and look for retail opportunities. Did anyone have pandemic on their business plan?

We didn't let that stop us! We offered no contact delivery or pick up and in 2022 we again were back at festivals. In 2023 we moved to our current location at the Fraser Valley Artisan Food Hub in Abbotsford. A wonderful new home that has let us finally keep up with demand.
In 2023 we proudly announced our partnership with Meridian Farm Markets throughout the lower mainland. We launched in the fall with three flavours and in January 2024 we expanded to eight! You'll find our shortbread under the Meridian label at all locations and online.

Of course you'll still find us at festivals during the spring and summer throughout the lower mainland with a large selection of our full line.
We take a hands-on approach to baking our cookies. Each cookie is carefully crafted by hand and baked to perfection in small batches. For our Meridian customers we bake fresh and deliver directly to each location, often the cookies are to the stores and on the shelves within 3 hours of coming out of the oven.
After all, if you're going to have a cookie, have a good cookie!
